اول سك نحاسي عماني يحمل اسم مسقط سنة 1311هـ /1894م في عهد السلطان فيصل بن تركي.،

الوجه: في الوسط قلعة الجلالي وقصر السلطان ونخيل والميناء البحري. كتب ادناها (1/ 12 آنا) وفي الهامش كتب بالإنجليزي السلطان فيصل بن تركي امام مسقط وعمان

الظهر: كتب فيصل بن تركي بن سعيد بن سلطان امام مسقط وعمان، وفي الأعلى كلمة غازي

 

The first Omani copper coin bearing the name Muscat was minted in 1311 AH/1894 AD during the reign of Sultan Faisal bin Turki.

Oversea: In the center are Al Jalali Fort, the Sultan’s Palace, palm trees, and the seaport. Below is inscribed (1/12 anna), and in the margin is written in English: Sultan Faisal bin Turki bin Said bin Sultan, Imam of Muscat and Oman.

Reverse: Inscribed: Faisal bin Turki bin Said bin Sultan, Imam of Muscat and Oman, and at the top is the word Ghazi
