سك بالبصرة سنة 81 هـ في عهد عبد الملك بن مروان.

الوجه: المركز: لا إله الا الله وحده لا شريك له.

الهامش: بسم الله، ضرب هذا الدرهم بالبصرة في سنة واحد وثمنين.

الظهر: المركز: الله أحد الله الصمد لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد.

الهامش: محمد رسول الله ارسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون.

It was minted in Basra in the year 81 AH during the reign of Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan

Observe: Center: There is no god but God alone, with no partner.

Margin: In the name of God, this dirham was minted in Basra in the year Eighty-one.

Reverse Center: God is One, God is the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor was begotten, and there is none comparable to Him.

Margin: Muhammad is the Messenger of God, whom He sent with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists hate it.
