Minted during the Caliphate of Al-Muqtadir (295-320 AH / 908-932 AD) Minted in Madinat al-Salam in the year 320 AH. Obverse: Center: To God/Muhammad/ Messenger/of God/Al-Muqtadir Margin: Muhammad is the Messenger of God, whom He sent with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists hate it. Verso: Center: There is no god but God, alone, without partner – Commander of the Faithful Inner margin: In the name of God, this dirham was minted in Madinat al-Salam in the year 320 AH |
Outer margin: To God belongs the command before and after. On that day the believers will rejoice in God’s victory.
