تم سك هذه العملة في حكم الرئيس عمر البشير الذي حكم من عام 1996م حتى عام 2015م.

الوجه: في الوسط مبنى البنك المركزي السوداني وكتب في الهامش من الأسفل بنك السودان المركزي وفي الأعلى كتب بالإنجليزية نفس الحملة.

الظهر: في الوسط كتب 1 جنيه واحد وفي الهامش في الأعلى كتب بالإنجليزية جنيه سوداني واحد وعل الجانبين كتب سنة اصدار العملة سنة 2011م.

This coin was minted during the reign of President Omar al-Bashir, who ruled from 1996 to 2015.

Oversea: In the center is the Central Bank of Sudan building, with “Central Bank of Sudan” written in the lower margin and “Central Bank of Sudan” written in English at the top.

Reverse: In the center is written “1 Sudanese Pound,” with “1 Sudanese Pound” written in English at the top margin. The year of issue of the coin is written on both sides: 2011.
