This coin was minted during the reign of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, who ruled from 2004 to 2022. The dirham was issued to commemorate the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on February 1. The obverse features the 1-dirham note, surrounded by the United Arab Emirates in Arabic and English. It is rarely circulated. Reverse: The occasion’s logo is in the center, and in the margin, “February 1st, the anniversary of the Crown Prince – /B/ His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum” is written |
