صدر في عهد الشيخ جابر الأحمد الصباح أمير الكويت (1977- 2006م) وكان هذا الإصدار مطابقا للإصدار الثالث فيما عدا ألوانه التي اختلفت بصورة كبيرة عن الإصدار الذي سبقه وتحمل على أحد وجهيها الشعار الرسمي لدولة الكويت وتوقيع وزير المالية علي خليفة العذبي الصباح (1983-1985 / 1990-1991م ) ومحافظ بنك الكويت المركزي حمزة عباس (1973-1983م) الوجه الاخر :حمل صورة لمصنع تسييل الغاز.
Issued during the reign of Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait (1977-2006 AD). This issue was identical to the third issue except for its colors, which differed significantly from the previous issue. On one side, it bore the official emblem of the State of Kuwait and the signatures of the Minister of Finance, Ali Khalifa Al-Adhbi Al-Sabah (1983-1985 / 1990-1991 AD) and the Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait, Hamza Abbas (1973-1983 AD). The other side bore a picture of a gas liquefaction plant.
