50 dirhams, 2012 AD
  صدرت العملة في عهد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة بن حمد آل ثاني الذي حكم من عام 1995 م حتى 2013 م.

الوجه: في الوسط: داو (سفينة شراعية) تمثلت قاعدتها بسيفين:
شجرة النخيل واللاتي تمثلان البيئتين الزراعية والبحرية لدولة قطر، وكتب حولهما في الأسفل دولة قطر وفي الأعلى سنة الإصدار 1433 هـ/ 2012 م.

الظهر: في الوسط كتب 50 درهما اعلاها كتب بالإنجليزية 50 درهم واسفلها دولة قطر باللغة الإنجليزية.

 

The currency was issued during the reign of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, who ruled from 1995 to 2013.

Oversea: In the center: A dhow (sailing ship) with two swords at its base: a palm tree, representing the agricultural and marine environments of the State of Qatar. Surrounding them at the bottom is the inscription “State of Qatar” and at the top is the year of issue 1433 AH/2012 AD.

Reverse: In the center is the inscription “50 dirhams”, above which is written “50 dirhams” in English, and below it is the inscription “State of Qatar” in English.
