This coin was minted during the presidency of Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, who ruled from 1981 to 2011.

Obverse: In the center, the words “50 piastres” are written. Above, it reads “Arab Republic of Egypt.” Below, it reads “50 Piastres.”

Reverse: A portrait of Cleopatra VII (Queen of Egypt). On both sides, the date of issue is written: 1428 AH / 2007 AD.
