The coin was issued in 1431 AH / 2010 CE during the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled the Sultanate of Oman from 1970 to 2020 CE / 1390-1441 AH. Obverse: The emblem of the Sultanate of Oman, two crossed swords and a dagger. Margin: Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman.
