Twenty commemorative riyals issued in 1995 in silver, on the occasion of the twenty-fifth National Day

The commemorative coin was issued in 2008 during the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled the Sultanate of Oman from 1970 to 2020 (1390-1441 AH).

Silver commemorative coin

Obverse: In the center is a map of the Sultanate of Oman on a sunbeam, with the number 25 inscribed on it. The margins contain the inscription in both Arabic and English: (25th National Day 1995).

Reverse: In the middle is the emblem of the Sultanate of Oman, above and below it is written “Sultanate of Oman” in Arabic and English. On its sides is written “20 Riyals” in Arabic and English, and in the margin is written “Central Bank of Oman” in Arabic and English.
