Obverse: Portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said on the left / The emblem of the Sultanate of Oman at the top left / Bahla Fort in the center / The Central Bank of Oman at the top and ½ at the bottom / Under His Majesty the Sultan’s signature is the issue date 1995. Reverse: Al Hazm Fort appears, Nakhl Fort is in the middle / At the top it says Central Bank of Oman in English and at the top left it says ½ Rial in English. |
