This banknote was printed during the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled from 1970 to 2020. Obverse: On the right is the emblem of the Sultanate of Oman / At the top center is written “Central Bank of Oman” / Below it is written “Quarter Riyal” / It is signed by Mr. Tariq bin Taimur, Chairman of the Board of Governors. Reverse: The image shows Al Jalali Castle / At the top, it says Central Bank of Oman in English, and at the bottom, it says Quarter Rial in English. |
