الوجه: تظهر مناظر طبيعية وزراعية تعبر عن الريف الجزائري تتقدمها أشجار النخيل ومحاصيل ترمز للخصوبة والعمل الزراعي كما يظهر طائر الطاؤوس وكيش الجبال وقبة مسجد / وكتب في الأسفل وسط عشرة دنانير.

الظهر: رموز للثروات التي يزخر بها العالم الريفي بما فيها العمل الحرفي لرجل عجوز على خلفية مزارع الكروم، فضلاً عن النشاط الاقتصادي الذي يرمز إليه الفنان إسياخم بمصنع، على الجانب الأيمن للورقة.

The currency was issued during the era of Algerian President Houari Boumediene, who ruled from 1965 to 1978.

Obverse: It shows natural and agricultural scenes that express the Algerian countryside, with palm trees and crops symbolizing fertility and agricultural work in the foreground. It also shows a peacock, mountain peaks, and a mosque dome. The inscription is below, in the middle of the ten dinar note.

Reverse: Symbols of the riches of the rural world, including the craftsmanship of an old man against a backdrop of vineyards, as well as the economic activity symbolized by the artist Issiakhem with a factory, on the right side of the note.
