The banknote was printed during the presidency of Amin Gemayel, who ruled Lebanon from 1982 to 1988.

Obverse: Sidon Sea Castle, a prominent historical landmark in Lebanon. Above it is written “Bank of Lebanon” and below it “Twenty-Five Lira”

Reverse:The historic Mseilha Castle, another important landmark located in Batroun. / At the top, in French, is written “Bank of Lebanon,” and at the bottom left, in French, is written “Twenty-five Lira.”
