The banknote was printed during the presidency of Amin Gemayel, who ruled Lebanon from 1982 to 1988. Obverse: Features images of the ruins of the Umayyad Palace in Anjar, located in the Bekaa Valley. The words “Bank of Lebanon” are written at the top, and “Ten Lira” at the bottom. Reverse: It depicts the Raouche Rock (Pigeon Grotto) in Beirut. At the top, in French, is written “Bank of Lebanon,” and at the bottom left, in French, is written “Ten Lira.” Size: 145 x 75 mm |
