The coin was issued during the British Mandate for Palestine, which lasted from 1917 to 1948. Obverse: From top to bottom: 50 / Fifty Mills, written in Arabic, English, and Hebrew. Reverse: In the center is a xenon branch with the date of issue, 1935, inscribed below it. Around it is written “Palestine” in Arabic, English, and Hebrew. Composition: 0.720 fine silver.
