The banknote was printed during the presidency of Michel Aoun, who ruled the Lebanese Republic from 2016 to 2022. Obverse: In the center is written (20000) / above it is (Bank of Lebanon) and below it is (twenty thousand Lebanese pounds) and on the left side is the emblem of Lebanon, the cedar tree. Reverse: The ladder and the sun-like rose symbolize the growth and progress of the Lebanese economy. The Lebanese emblem is the cedar tree. At the top and bottom, inscribed in Latin, are “Bank of Lebanon” and below, “Twenty Thousand Lebanese Pounds.” Size: 72 x 131 mm |
