الوجه: على اليمين صورة صدام حسين / وعلى اليسار ضريح الجندي المجهول. / وكتب أسفل صورة الضريح تاريخ اصدار العملة سنة (1423م/ 2002 هـ) / كتب في الأعلى (البنك المركزي العراقي) وفي الأسفل (10,000 دينار). الظهر: في الوسط مدرسة المستنصرية في بغداد / مع مئذنة وقبة مسجد العصفية / وفي اليسار أسطرلاب عربي. / باللغة الإنجليزية كتب (في الأعلى البنك المركزي العراقي) وفي الأسفل (عشرة آلاف دينارًا) مع وجود الإسطرلاب العربي في يسار الورقة. القياس: 68 x 156 ملم |

The currency was issued during the presidency of Saddam Hussein, who ruled from 1979 to 2003. Obverse: On the right is a portrait of Saddam Hussein; on the left is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Below the tomb image is the date of issue (1423 AH/2002 CE). At the top is written “Central Bank of Iraq,” and at the bottom, “10,000 Iraqi Dinars.” Reverse: In the center is the Mustansiriya School in Baghdad / with the minaret and dome of the Asafiya Mosque / and on the left is an Arabic astrolabe. / In English it says (at the top, Central Bank of Iraq) and at the bottom (ten thousand dinars) with the Arabic astrolabe on the left of the note.
