The currency was issued during the presidency of Fuad Masoum, who ruled from 2014 to 2018.

The inscription “Central Bank of Iraq” is at the top, and the date of issue (1440 AH / 2018 CE) is in the upper left corner. On the right side, it says “One Thousand Dinars.”

Reverse: Al-Mustaniriya University in Baghdad. / In English, it says “Above: Central Bank of Iraq” and “Above: One Thousand Dinars.”
