الوجه: طبعة بنية فاتحة وداكنة. / في الوسط (عملة ذهبية إسلامية من العصور الاموي صدرت لأول مرة عام 77 هـ (696-697 م) من قبل الخليفة عبد الملك بن مروان)./. واسفله كتب تاريخ اصدار العملة سنة (1424 هـ 2003 م) كما كتب في الأعلى (البنك المركزي العراقي) وفي جهة اليمين كتب (ألف دينار) المقاس: 66 x 143 ملم |

The currency was issued during the presidency of Saddam Hussein, who ruled from 1979 to 2003. Obverse: Light and dark brown print. / In the center: (Islamic gold coin from the Umayyad era, first issued in 77 AH (696-697 CE) by Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan)./ Below it is the date of issue (1424 AH / 2003 CE). At the top is written (Central Bank of Iraq), and on the right is written (One Thousand Dinars). Reverse: Printed in light and dark brown. / In the center: a picture of Al-Mustansiriya School, Baghdad. / In English: (Above: Central Bank of Iraq) and below: (One Thousand Dinars) Size: 66 x 143 mm |
