 الوجه: بني على خلفية خضراء فاتحة. /صدام حسين على اليمين. / كما كتب في الأعلى (البنك المركزي العراقي) وفي الوسط كتب (خمسة وعشرون دينار) وفي الأسفل كتب تاريخ اصدار العملة سنة (١٤٢٢ هـ – ٢٠٠١ م)

الظهر: في الوسط تظهر بوابة عشتار وتمثال أسد بابل. / باللغة الإنجليزية كتب (في الأعلى البنك المركزي العراقي) وفي الأسفل (خمسة وعشرون دينارًا).

The currency was issued during the presidency of Saddam Hussein, who ruled from 1979 to 2003.

Obverse: Brown on a light green background. /Saddam Hussein is on the right. /At the top, it reads “Central Bank of Iraq,” in the center, “Twenty-five dinars,” and at the bottom, the date of issue: 1422 AH – 2001 AD.

Reverse: The reverse side depicts the Ishtar Gate and the Lion of Babylon statue in the center. The words “Central Bank of Iraq” are written at the top and “Twenty-five dinars” at the bottom.
