الظهر: في الوسط واليسار قطيع من الأغنام والتي تمثل البيئة الرعوية للصومال / في الأعلى كتب البنك المركزي الصومالي / وكتب على الزوايا الأربعة بالعربي والإنجليزي 20 شلنًا صوماليًا

This currency was in circulation during the reign of President Mohamed Siad Barre, who ruled from 1969 to 1991. Obverse: In the center is the Central Bank of Somalia building in Mogadishu / At the top is written in English “Central Bank of Somalia” / And at the bottom is written in English “20 Somali Shillings”. Reverse: In the center and left, a flock of sheep representing Somalia’s pastoral environment. At the top, it says “Central Bank of Somalia.” The four corners are marked with “20 Somali Shillings” in both Arabic and English. Size: 165 x 80 mm |
