تُقرأ: تشيان لونغ تونغ باو /المعنى:
乾隆 =   تشيان لونغ (اسم العهد)
通寶 =    عملة متداولة رسمية
الأحرف تُقرأ من الأعلى إلى اليمين ثم الأسفل فاليسار حول ثقب مربّع.

الظهر: يحتوي على كتابة مانشورية /صينية. تشير هذه الكتابة إلى دار السك التي أُصدرت منها العملة وهي بكين القسم الشرقي.
وجود كتابة على الظهر سمة شائعة في عملات عهد تشيان لونغ.

Obverse: Inscription: 乾隆通寶

Read: Qianlong Tongbao / Meaning:

乾隆 = Qianlong (name of reign)

通寶 = Official Circulating Currency

The characters are read from top right to bottom left around a square hole.

 Reverse: Contains Manchu/Chinese inscription. This inscription indicates the mint where the coin was issued, which was Beijing East.

The presence of an inscription on the reverse is a common feature of Qianlong coins.
