الوجه: يتوسط الورقة الرقم الكبير 10 الذي يمثل قيمة الفئة. / في اعلى الورقة عبارة بنك الاحتياطي الهندي الإنجليزي. / في الجهة اليمين شعار جمهورية الهند (اسود اشوكا) داخل إطار زخرفي / في الجهة اليسرى نافذة العلامة المائية الي تحمل سعار اسود اشوكا.

الظهر: تتوسط الظهر صورة المهاتما غاندي جالسا يقرا او يكتب / يظهر في الخلفية مبنى اشبه بأحد مقرات الاشرم التي اقام فيها غاندي مع الأشجار والسور المحيط / في الجهة اليسرى لوحة تضم اسن العملة (عشر روبيات) ب 13 لغة / في الأسفل تتوسط الورقة خاتم بنك الاحتياطي الهندي.

This banknote was issued during the tenure of President Varahagiri Venkata Giri, who served from 1969 to 1974.

Obverse: The large numeral “10,” representing the denomination, appears in the center. The inscription “Reserve Bank of India” appears at the top. The Emblem of India (the Lion Capital of Ashoka) is featured on the right side within a decorative frame, while the watermark window displaying the Lion Capital of Ashoka is located on the left.

Reverse: An image of Mahatma Gandhi, seated and reading or writing, appears in the center. The background features a building resembling one of the ashrams where Gandhi resided, complete with surrounding trees and a fence. A panel displaying the denomination (“Ten Rupees”) in 13 languages ​​is located on the left side. The Reserve Bank of India seal appears at the bottom center.
