Umayyad dirham

تم ضرب الدرهم بواسط في عهد الوليد الأول بن عبد الملك سنة 87 هـ،

الوجه: المركز: لا إله الا الله وحده لا شريك له.

الهامش: بسم الله، ضرب هذا الدرهم بواسط في سنة ثنين وتسعين.

الظهر: المركز: الله أحد الله الصمد لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد.

الهامش: رسول الله ارسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون.

الوليد الأول بن عبد الملك الأول الأموي حكم من 705 م حتى 715 م (86 – 96 هـ)

The dirham was minted in Wasit during the reign of Al-Walid I bin Abdul-Malik in the year 87 AH

Observe: Center: There is no god but God alone, with no partner.

Margin: In the name of God, this dirham was minted in Wasit in the year ninety-two.

Reverse: Center: God is One, God is the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor was begotten, and there is none comparable to Him.

Margin: The Messenger of God was sent with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even if the polytheists hate it.
