الأنباط: هم مجموعة من العرب القدماء الذين كانوا يقطنون في شمال الجزيرة العربية وجنوب الشام وينتمون إلى نبط بن إسماعيل، إليهم ينسب الخط النبطي ولهم مملكة الأنباط. حيث أعطيت مستوطناتهم التي استمرت من عام 100 إلى 37 قبل الميلاد

والمملكة النبطية: هي مملكة عربية قديمة قامت في شمال شبه الجزيرة العربية.

كانت عاصمتهم مدينة البتراء، وكانت محطة استراتيجية واقعة على طريق البخور، إذ إنها تقع على مفترق طرق القوافل القادمة من جنوب شبه جزيرة العرب، إلى الهلال الخصيب وأفريقيا.

The Nabataean Kingdom was an ancient Arab kingdom located in the northern Arabian Peninsula. Their capital was Petra, a strategic stop on the Incense Route, located at the crossroads of caravan routes from the southern Arabian Peninsula to the Fertile Crescent and Africa.
