This dirham was minted during the reign of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (1391-1425 AH / 1971-2004 AD).

It was issued to mark the golden jubilee of the Dubai Police.

The obverse features the 1-dirham note, surrounded by the United Arab Emirates in Arabic and English. It is rarely circulated.

Reverse: The Dubai Police logo in the center. The margin displays the Golden Jubilee of the Dubai Police in Arabic and English (1965-2006).
