This coin was minted during the reign of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, who ruled from 2004 to 2022. It was issued to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Abu Dhabi Police. The obverse features the 1 dirham note, surrounded by the words “United Arab Emirates” in Arabic and English. It is rarely circulated. Reverse: 50 Years of Giving and Development in the center, with the Abu Dhabi Police logo in the middle and the Golden Jubilee of the Abu Dhabi Police in Arabic and English. |
