This coin was minted during the presidency of Muhammad Anwar Sadat, who ruled from 1970 to 1981.

(Scientists’ Day)

Obverse: Some of the symbols and tools representing science and scholars, and at the top is written, “Only those of His servants who possess knowledge truly fear God.”

Reverse: The number 10 piastres is written in the center, above it is written, and at the bottom, “Scientists’ Day.” On the right side is the year of issue (1401 AH / 1981 AD).
