الوجه: يحمل صورة رأس ملك فرعوني داخل إطار زخرفي / في الأعلى عبارة (البنك الأهلي المصري) / في الوسط كتب (خمسة وعشرون قرشا) / وفي الأسفل منه كتب تاريخ الإصدار 1957م.

الظهر: صورة جامع محمد علي باشا داخل قلعة صلاح الدين بالقاهرة /وكتب بالإنجليزي (بنك الاهلي المصري) /والرقم 25 على الزوايا من اعلى / زخارف نباتية على الأطراف.

Issued by the Central Bank of Egypt during the presidency of Gamal Abdel Nasser, who ruled from 1956 to 1970.

Obverse: Features an image of a pharaoh’s head within a decorative frame. At the top are the words “National Bank of Egypt.” In the center are the words “Twenty-five piasters.” Below this is the issue date, 1957.

Reverse: Image of the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque inside the Citadel of Saladin in Cairo / Written in English (National Bank of Egypt) / Number 25 on the top corners / Floral decorations on the edges.
