A commemorative one-riyal coin issued in 2012 AD in silver, issued on the occasion of the forty-sixth National Day.

The commemorative coin was issued in 2012 during the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled the Sultanate of Oman from 1970 to 2020 (1390-1441 AH).

The silver commemorative coins depict five of the most important Omani handicrafts.

Obverse: This coin is one of five commemorative coins and depicts the craft of carpentry, featuring images of a chest, a ship, and other items.

Reverse: The emblem of the Sultanate of Oman is in the center, above it, and below it, the words “Sultanate of Oman” are written in both Arabic and English. On either side, the words “One Rial” are written in both Arabic and English, and in the margin, the words “Central Bank of Oman” are written in both Arabic and English.
