This banknote was printed during the reign of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who ruled from 1970 to 2020. Obverse: Portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said on the right / The emblem of the Sultanate of Oman at the top center / At the top, the words “Central Bank of Oman” are written, and below it, “Fifty Rials” / Next to His Majesty the Sultan’s signature, the date of issue is written: 1992. Reverse: Jabrin Castle appears in the middle / At the top it says Central Bank of Oman in English and at the bottom it says Fifty Riyals in English. |
