The banknote was printed during the presidency of Amin Gemayel, who ruled Lebanon from 1982 to 1988. Obverse : features images of the ruins of the Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek. At the top, it reads “Bank of Lebanon,” and at the bottom, “Fifty Lira.” Reverse: Depicts Saint Gilles Castle (Tripoli Castle) in Tripoli. / At the top, in French, is written “Bank of Lebanon,” and at the bottom left, in French, is written “Fifty Lira.” Size: 155 x 85 mm |
