This coin was minted during the presidency of General Pervez Musharraf, who ruled from 2001 to 2008.

Obverse: In the center is the Pakistani coat of arms / Above is the inscription “Islamic Republic of Pakistan” and below is the date of issue, 2005.

Reverse: In the center is the Badshahi Mosque (Lahore, Pakistan) / Below is the inscription “2 Rupees”.
