الوجه: كتابة أوغاريتية على ألواح طينية مسمارية من مدينة إيبلا القديمة / وفي أعلى الوسط كتب (مصرف سورية المركزي) / واسفله كتب تاريخ اصدار العملة (1442 هـ / 2021 م) / وأسفل الوسط كتب (خمسون ليرة سورية).

الظهر: مكتبة الأسد الوطنية في دمشق وتمثال حافظ الأسد/ وكتب باللغة الإنجليزية اعلى (مصرف سورية المركزي) وأسفل (خمسون ليرة سورية).

المقاس: 65 x 135 ملم

This currency was printed during the presidency of Bashar al-Assad, who ruled from 2000 to 2024.

Obverse: Ugaritic script on cuneiform clay tablets from the ancient city of Ebla. At the top center is written “Central Bank of Syria.” Below this is the date of issue (1442 AH / 2021 AD). At the bottom center is written “Fifty Syrian Pounds.”

Reverse: The National Library of Syria in Damascus and a statue of Hafez al-Assad./ The words “Central Bank of Syria” are written in English above, and “Fifty Syrian Pounds” is written below.
