 Obverse: Orange-brown on a multicolored background / At the top: (Central Bank of Libya) / On the left: The Libyan emblem / In the center: (Quarter Libyan Dinar) / At the bottom left: A verse from the Quran (ولا تأكلوا تمويلكم بينكم بالباطل)
Reverse: Orange-brown. / In the center is the door of the prayer hall in a Georgian mosque. / In English script, at the top and bottom are written (Central Bank of Libya) and (A Quarter Dinar).
