الوجه: في الوسط الصليب وكتب حوله باللغة الإنجليزية (البرتغال) / وفي الحلقة التي تدور بالصليب دروع وبين هذه الدروع أحرف تمثل العلوية منها اسم الدولة البرتغال بالإنجليزي وبين السفلية تاريخ اصدار العملة 2002 م.

الظهر: في أسفل اليسار الكرة الأرضية / وفي الأعلى اليمين كتب 5 سنت يورو

الركيب: فولاذ مطلي بالنحاس

الوزن: 3.92 غرام

The coin was minted during the presidency of Jorge Sampaio, who ruled from 1996 to 2006.

Obverse: In the center is a cross with the words “Portugal” written around it in English. In the ring that revolves around the cross are shields, and between these shields are letters, the upper ones representing the name of the country, Portugal, in English, and the lower ones the date of issue of the coin, 2002.

Reverse: Lower left: Globe / Upper right: 5 Euro cents
