الوجه: يحتوي في المركز على دائرة مزدوجة مكتوب داخلها بالخط العربي “محمد شاه”، بينما يحيط بالدائرة نقش بالخط (الديفاناغاري الهندي القديم) يحمل اسم السلطان (Sri Sultan Alavadin). التركيب: بليون (Billon) – وهي سبيكة تجمع نسبة ضئيلة من الفضة (نحو 8%) مع النحاس. الوزن: يتراوح بين 3.3 إلى 3.5 جرام. |

Minted during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Muhammad Shah Khilji, Sultan of Delhi, who ruled from 1296 to 1316 CE / 695 to 715 AH. Obverse: Features a double circle in the center containing the Arabic inscription “Muhammad Shah,” surrounded by an inscription in Devanagari script bearing the Sultan’s name (Sri Sultan Alavadin). Reverse: Bears the customary Sultanic title in Arabic, divided into lines: “The Great Sultan Alauddin” Composition: Billon – an alloy containing a small percentage of silver (approximately 8%) and copper. Weight: Between 3.3 and 3.5 grams. Diameter: Approximately 14 to 16 mm. |
