This coin was minted during the reign of ruler Maharao Shri Khengarji, who ruled from 1875 to 1942 AD. Obverse: Features an inscription in Persian reading: The name of George V (King of Britain and Emperor of India at the time) / “Zarb Bhuj” (meaning the coin was minted in the city of Bhuj, the capital of the State of Kutch) / Year. Reverse: Features the name of the ruler (Maharao Shri Khengarji), the name of the state (Kutch), the denomination (1.5 Dokdo), and the date (1920 AD), all written in Devanagari script.
